Having had AddonChat for a number of years I have found it to be a very good chat application that has a fantastic range of features at a very low price! More geared towards multiple user chat sessions instead of live support, AddonChat does exactly what it sets out to achieve and it does this reasonably well.

Although I have always found Technical Support to be brilliant, there could be a lot more information added to their Knowledge Base to allow customers a better ability to "self help" and troubleshoot their own problems - and offering a "Live Chat" option via the website or a customers account manager would be a great addition to their after sales.

From the time of writing this review there was no service plans offered that cater more towards Business Users and there is currently no ability to carry out partial upgrades (pro-rated) and set up automatic or re-occurring billing which is a shame.

If you are looking for a Java based chat room for your website community than AddonChat is probably one of the better options out there. However, if you want a more live support solution then you might be better off using their other product... (Read the full review)
