SightMax is a powerful live chat support solution that can be tailored to suit any size of business. Used by a number of different Fortune 500 companies SightMax offers all the features you would expect from an enterprise level system. We were particularly impressed with the reporting capabilities which could be the deal clincher for any manager looking to implement this system in their business. The level of campaign and conversion tracking is also worth mentioning and would fit in well with a target driven organisation.
We were initially impressed with the overall user interface SightMax provides. It looks great straight out of the box and, as you would expect, everything the customer sees is completely customizable. The desktop operator client is also very well thought out and makes managing multiple calls and busy queues a breeze. Our only reservation is that it's Windows only with no option of a web-based version. A mobile client is also available for an extra charge, which looks well designed and lets you keep up with chat sessions on the go.
SightMax comes as either a downloadable package that you install yourself on your own servers or as a fully managed service hosted on the company's infrastructure. For most smaller companies it probably makes sense to go for the managed version to ensure the quality and reliability of the service. However, installation isn't too difficult as the system runs on Windows Server and can be installed just like a typical Windows application. The prices for both packages are fairly reasonable, but do get a bit pricey if you need large numbers of operators.
One of SightMax's best features is its reporting capabilities. Reports can be run in real time to show you how things are changing live and can be fully customized to show just the data you want to see. The graphs and stats look great and are excellents tool for communicating how successful your live chat sessions are. In addition SightMax offers advanced campaign and conversion tracking features. This means you can set the system up to track when visitors have been referred to your site by a particular campaign and then note when they convert to a sale and whether or not a chat session helped with the conversion. These kinds of metrics are invaluable for any business looking to improve sales.
SightMax is well worth a look whatever your requirements. It isn't the cheapest solution around, but we are sure most businesses will be happy with the return on their investment once they see the improvement in sales and customer service that comes with it.
